1. German for Newbies: Game Afternoon Edition

Learning German doesn't have to be boring, quite the opposite! At our game meetup, the focus is on fun, community, and a relaxed atmosphere. We play fun games together, laugh a lot, and pick up bits and pieces of German along the way. Whether you're completely new to the German language or just want to enjoy a relaxed afternoon, here you can try things out, join in, and learn without pressure.

2. Surviving RWTH Exams: How to keep calm and not cry in the library

Feeling overwhelmed by RWTH exams? Join us for a practical, stress-busting event (with snacks!) that’ll help you prep smarter, manage exam anxiety, and finally ditch the all-nighters for good. This event is offered in English. Registration required by January 25, 2026 – limited spots!

3. Welcome Week Summer Term 2026: Volunteers Wanted!
Would you like to support new international students as they start their journey at RWTH Aachen? Then join us as a Welcome Week volunteer for the summer term 2026!
From April 7 to April 10, 2026, you’ll help welcome new international students, support them during events and activities, and contribute to creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere on campus. Volunteering during Welcome Week gives you the chance to meet people from all over the world, gain intercultural experience, and get actively involved in university life. Your engagement can also be recognized as a component of your Certificate International.

4. Einstein's Music Box: Exclusive concert for our students
Saturday, January 17, 2026, 7pm
In keeping with tradition, the Aachen Symphony Orchestra will perform at the core of student activity at RWTH Aachen University, now for the 12th time. Together with guests from the world of science and in entertaining interviews, an exciting program will see us investigate the connection between music and science.
Where? Aula 1, RWTH Aachen Main Building, Templergraben 55
When? Doors open at 6:30pm
Admission: Admission only with a valid ticket. Students at Aachen universities can obtain free tickets on presentation of their student ID card/Bluecard at the RWTH Shop, Templergraben 55 (during the regular opening hours).
Remaining tickets are only available to students at the box office. |

5. Scholarship Information Session
Tuesday, January 20, 6 to 8pm
Curious about scholarship opportunities? Join us for an information session, held in German, to learn more about available scholarship programs and funding agencies. This central information event, will bring together representatives from all state-supported scholarship organizations. The RWTH Education Fund will also be presented.
The session starts at 6pm in a shared Zoom room with brief presentations from the participating scholarship organizations. These will highlight both their similarities and, most importantly, their distinctive features. Following this, you will have the opportunity to join individual Zoom rooms for approximately 30-40 minutes to speak directly with representatives, ask questions, and clarify your specific concerns.
Who Can Attend: Open to all RWTH Aachen University students.
