Got a job interview coming up? In this online workshop, you’ll learn how interviews in Germany work, how to prepare, and how to present your strengths. 4. May 1st Public Holiday
In Germany, May 1st is “Tag der Arbeit” – Labour Day – and a public holiday. It’s a day for demonstrations, political events, and also for enjoying spring. In many regions, people dance into May (“Tanz in den Mai”) on the night before, and colorful maypoles are set up in towns and villages. Whether you're marching for workers' rights or just chilling in the sunshine – happy 1st of May! Please remember: Supermarkets will remain closed on 1st of May |
