1. New BeBuddy Matching System – Important information for all buddies
We've been working behind the scenes to make the matching between buddies and mentees even faster, fairer, and more accurate. After lots of testing (and plenty of coffee), we're excited to introduce our new BeBuddy Matching Algorithm!
First of all, please check the current status of your buddy profile here and update your status, information and the time of your availability.
To ensure fair and efficient matching, we match buddies and mentees based on the following criteria:
- Completed BeBuddy Training (mandatory)
- Availability during the arrival period (mandatory)
- Faculty / Study Field
- Age
New mentees are arriving shortly for the upcoming semester so don't forget to update your profile.
And last but not least: Thank you for your support and commitment! Thank you for helping us create a warm and welcoming environment for international students in Aachen. We couldn't do it without you! |
