The Welcome Center for International Researchers is here to ensure your transition is smooth and successful. “Off to a good start” is a tailored support program designed to help you prepare for and navigate your stay in Aachen.

Our Program Includes:

• Digital Info Sessions: Gain essential information on key topics such as visa applications, housing options in Aachen, health insurance, and more. These sessions are designed to answer all your questions before you arrive.
• Group Introductions: Connect with fellow international researchers through our online meet-and-greet events. Build a supportive network even before stepping foot in Germany.
• Discover Aachen: Learn about Aachen’s rich history and vibrant culture with guided city and campus tours once you arrive. Get to know your new home away from home!
• In-Person Events: Participate in various social gatherings and workshops aimed at helping you integrate into the community and make the most of your time at RWTH.
