Career Advice Services for International Students

As an international student, you have the exciting opportunity to start your career in Germany.  Your perspectives and intercultural skills are valued assets in a competitive job market.

Walk-In Sessions for International Students. If you have questions or need individual guidance, you can simply stop by—no appointment needed. This open advising format provides flexibility and the chance to discuss your concerns directly with us.

Our walk-in hours for the winter semester 2025/26 take place every Tuesday from 2–3 PM at Humboldt Haus, 1st floor, room 103, Pontstraße 41.

Effectively Preparing RWTH’s International Students for Launching Their Careers in Germany

The Career Success in Germany Certificate Program is designed for all international students, especially those pursuing a master’s degree at RWTH Aachen University. This structured and modular program supports your career launch in Germany by strengthening essential language skills and providing key technical and practical competencies relevant to your field.

Through a combination of workshops, training modules, and industry collaboration, you will gain valuable skills that prepare you for entering the job market. The certificate serves as an additional qualification for prospective employers and highlights your commitment to professional development. Specialized modules offer practical insights and hands-on experience, helping you navigate the German job market with greater confidence.

The program aims to reduce entry barriers for international students while expanding your professional network through contact with industry partners and peers. You can complete the required modules and at least two elective core modules within approximately three semesters, depending on your individual schedule and goals.
