Professor Saleh Lamei Mostafa, engineer and RWTH alumnus, receives the Nile Award in the field of art

RWTH alumni can be found all over the world – including Egypt, where the Egyptian state prize “Nile Award” was recently awarded to RWTH alumnus Professor Saleh Lamei Mostafa. Lamei Mostafa earned his doctorate degree in 1966 at the Chair of Historic Building and Conservation and impresses with a long resume full of highly regarded positions.

The prestigious Nile Award from the State of Egypt is presented annually to individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of science, art, and culture. The award promotes and honors Egypt's cultural heritage.
